A name, phone number, or address entered in a search form is sent to the third-party provider that supplies that result service. Duncan Residents Directory does not retain a copy of those searches. If you contact us, we use the contents of your message only to respond.
Data We Gather Automatically
Standard hosting logs can include an IP address, browser type, viewed pages, and timestamps. We review that information in aggregate to maintain the service and understand readership. Cookies or similar tools may support ordinary analytics and, when applicable, advertising measurement.
What We Do With This Data
We use this limited data to run the service, correct faults, measure traffic, and improve the reference material. We do not sell visitor lists or create individual visitor profiles.
Links to Other Websites
We link out to county and state records portals, library collections, archives, and third-party search tools. Their privacy policies, not ours, govern what you submit there. That is especially true of the sponsored search results, which a third-party company provides.
Who Might See Your Data
The service providers that host and support the site process server logs for us. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. We disclose data when a valid legal process requires it, and not otherwise.
How We Protect Your Data
The site runs over an encrypted connection and logs are kept only as long as the purposes above need them. There are no accounts here, so no password or profile of yours exists on this site to be exposed.
Users Under 18
The site is meant for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18; if you believe a minor has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Data Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, or deletion of personal data a service holds. Because this service keeps very little, a request usually concerns a contact message or server log. Use the Contact page to ask. Oklahoma state, Stephens County, and Duncan public records are held by their custodians, not by this service; requests concerning those records belong with the relevant office under the Oklahoma Open Records Act, Title 51 O.S. §§24A.1–24A.31.
